Lauren Miles is a new construction and remodeling expert known for her superb taste, friendly and approachable demeanor and incredible attention to detail. She puts her clients at ease knowing they are in the hands of a highly trained professional who will execute and bring their vision to life. Her strengths lie in her strong work ethic, creative ideas and ability to connect with her clients. She has an innate ability to understand who they are and what their style is, and always has their best interest at heart. Lauren prides herself on not having a specific look but instead tailoring each project to her clients, their tastes, specific interests and lifestyle.
Lauren launched Lauren Miles Interior Design in 2017, highlighting her talent for creating classically inspired interiors with a fresh, modern and uniquely personal feel. An artist at heart, Lauren began her design career studying Fine Arts at the University of New Hampshire before attending Drexel University where she received a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture. She briefly worked for a small residential firm in Boston before accepting a position with one of Boston’s top design firms, Heather Wells Inc., where Lauren worked as a senior designer for over seven years. During her time there she expanded her portfolio to include residential projects from across the country, her work was published in nationally distributed design books and shelter magazines, and she had the opportunity to attend art shows, trade exhibits and conferences both nationally and Internationally.
Lauren is knowledgeable and understands how to effectively manage projects and their many moving parts. Home projects inevitably present stresses. She is resourceful, organized and an excellent problem solver who is well equipped to be your advocate so you can feel confident you are in good hands and enjoy the process.
Lauren lives outside Burlington, Vermont with her husband and two daughters in an old farmhouse that they continue to renovate. In her free time she can be found on the ski trails in and around Stowe, Vermont, exploring all that nature has to offer on hikes with her girls, searching for the perfect antique or piece of art, and late night online shopping.
